Maintenance Worker III

Duties

• Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
• Four (4) years experience in manual labor maintenance and construction work desired.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Maintenance of Traffic Certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year preferred.

A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. • Occasionally: - Lift/Carry: 50+ lbs., Push/Pull: 40+ lbs., Squat/Kneel, Climb, Crawl, Sit.
• Frequently: - Lift/Carry: 25-50 lbs., Push/Pull: 25-40 lbs., Bend, Reach Above Shoulder, Reach Outward, Drive.
• Constantly: Lift/Carry 25 lbs. or less, Push/Pull: 25 lbs. or less, Twist/Turn, Stand, Walk, Handling/ Fine Motor Skills.

Risk/Safety Conditions:

• This position requires moderate exposure or risk to physical health and/or physical safety (i.e., exposure to environmentally hazardous material, heavy equipment).
• This position often requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and may include completing and successfully passing medical evaluations or clearances.
