Lift Station Technician III

Duties

• Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Technician I - Minimum one (1) year experience with lift stations.
• Technician II –Minimum three (3) years’ experience with lift stations.
• Confined Space Training or attainment within one year.
• CPR certified or attainment within one (1) year.
• HDPE pipe welding skills required.
• Electrofusion skills required.

• Technician III – Minimum five (5) years’ experience with lift stations.
• Confined Space Training or attainment within one (1) year.
• CPR certified or attainment within one (1) year.
• HDPE pipe welding required.
• Electrofusion skills required.

A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. • Occasionally - Lift/Carry: 50+ lbs., Push/Pull: 50+ lbs., Type/Keyboard, Sit
• Frequently - Lift/Carry: 25-50 lbs., Push/Pull: 25-50 lbs., Drive, Traverse Uneven Terrain, Work at Heights
• Constantly – Lift/Carry: 25 lbs. or less., Push/Pull: 25 lbs. or less, Handling/Fine Motor Skills, Squat/Kneel, Climb, Bend, Twist/Turn, Stand, Walk, Crawl, Reach above Shoulder and Reach Outward.
