Electrician I

Duties

• Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalent diploma.
• Five (5) years’ experience as a journeyman electrician preferred.
• Florida Class B CDL License, with air brake endorsement, (or ability to obtain within twelve (12) months of employment).

A comparable amount of training and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. • Occasionally - Lift/Carry: 25+ lbs., Push/Pull: 26+ lbs., Climb, Crawl, Sit.
• Frequently - Twist/Turn, Reach Above Shoulder, Reach Outward, Drive.
• Constantly - Lift/Carry: 25 lbs. or less, Push/Pull: 25 lbs. or less. Handling/Fine Motor Skills, Stand, Walk.

Risk/Safety Conditions:

• This position requires moderate exposure or risk to physical health and/or physical safety (i.e., exposure to environmentally hazardous material, heavy equipment).
• This position often requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and may include completing and successfully passing medical evaluations or clearances.
