Duties
Examples of Duties: Teaching Assistant: Provide guidance to students:Class/lab work, grade quizzes, set up experiments, take down experiments, hold office hours, hold problem solving sessions,Assisting faculty with classroom instruction, records, and assignmentsLead student discussion sectionsMeeting with students during office hoursConferencing with students individually or in small groupsDelivering lectures or guest lecturesGrading assignments or papersManaging course communicationsPreparing laboratory materials Recording and calculating grades. Laboratory Assistant:Enforcing laboratory rules and proceduresTaking attendance and monitoring participationObtaining and distributing course materialsOrdering course textbooks and monitoring supplyConduct research for the professor Keeping student records.
Minimums
Minimum Qualifications: Current student at New College of Florida.
