Engineer III

Duties

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• (5) five or more years’ civil engineering experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Florida Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record throughout employment.

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.

Minimums

In order to move on to the next phase of the application screening process, you must attach proof of education. Applicants who demonstrate they meet the minimum requirements may be subject to an extensive selection process and screening program, which may include, but not be limited to, evaluation of training and experience background investigation; medical evaluation; controlled substance screen.
