Senior Procurement Specialist

Duties

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or Public Administration, Business Law, Finance, Purchasing. Three (3) or more years’ progressively responsible experience in public purchasing and procurement functions, preferably in a governmental environment. Additional education, beyond a Bachelor’s Degree, may substitute for up to two (2) years of the required experience. Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain satisfactory driving record throughout employment. In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
