Duties
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or closely related field; supplemented by five or more years’ experience in construction management and/or public works engineering and infrastructure projects; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment. Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Engineer (PE) certifications are preferred. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment. In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
Minimums
Applicants who demonstrate they meet the minimum requirements may be subject to an extensive selection process and screening program, which may include, but not be limited to, evaluation of training and experience; psychological evaluation; polygraph examination; background investigation; medical evaluation; controlled substance screen. Applicants are required to sign an affidavit for non-use of tobacco products in order to be considered for employment.
